A colleague has been working on a new identity for an upcoming marketing agency and asked me to create a logo while he was working on bringing the website into force.

The initial brief was for something bold and clean and so I chose the Gotham font. I played through a number of colours including red, gold and blue with my colleague making the final decision on the blue gradient along with the faded black.

The challenge of this logo was bringing an ‘S’ into the logo as the the ‘M’ and ‘S’ will be capitalised in MarketSuite. It wasn’t too easy because of the natural curve of an ‘S’ but I feel the final inclusion works well, using the colour choice to stand out and bring the two letters together.

The final inclusion my colleague wanted was a connection of lines and dots behind to make it look like a network.
